Teraflex HD Hinged Tire Carrier w/ Adjustable Tire Mount
The TeraFlex Heavy Duty Hinged Tire Carrier with an Adjustable Tire Mount will make life easier for drivers with really large wheels and tires, and need to safely secure a larger wheel and tire to the rear. This heavy Duty Hinged Tire Carrier has been designed to carry up to a 37” tire while making the rear tailgate easily accessible under the most extreme of conditions.
This is all achieved under the design where the TeraFlex Heavy Duty Adjustable Tire Carrier kit evenly distributes the weight of the tire across all points of the mount, instead of bearing all the weight on the hinge. And the Heavy Duty Tire Carrier has been crafted from lightweight aluminum, and features forged steel hinge brackets, with cold formed high-carbon steel hinge pins.
No drilling will be required to install this kit, and hardware will be provided to complete the installation.

Teraflex HD Hinged Tire Carrier
Designed to accommodate up to a 37” tire, the TeraFlex JK TeraFlex Alpha Heavy-Duty Hinged Spare Tire Carrier and Alpha Heavy-Duty Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit will secure your spare tire over the most extreme trails and rugged terrain. Our hinged spare tire carrier offers easy access to the rear cargo area in one smooth action. Using the factory tailgate hinge mounting points spreads the load of the spare tire over a larger area for maximum strength and durability.
Dedicated tooling and A356.2 T6 cast aluminum construction with a UV top coat, make our Alpha Heavy-Duty Hinged Spare Tire Carrier as light and as strong as possible, while its design, fit, and finish complement the JK Wrangler’s body shape. Internal gussets and bracing in the stock Wrangler body supports the Alpha tire carrier and oversized tire.
Heavy-Duty forged steel brackets and Heavy-Duty 5/8” hinge pins constructed from fold formed high-carbon hardened steel combined with the factory mounting locations ensure the strongest rattle-free tire carrier available. With the Heavy-Duty reinforcement carrier supporting the weight of the tailgate assembly and spare tire, the Alpha tire carrier removes all stress from the tailgate.
The Alpha tire carrier also provides additional mounting points for off-road accessories such as a recovery jack and fluid containers.

Teraflex HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit (5x5 Wheels)
With this TeraFlex spare tire mounting kit, a spare tire up to 37"" can be stored and stay safe on the roughest trails. It allows for quick and easy access to rear cargo with just one hand. This tire mount is heavy duty and constructed to support the weight of a full-size spare tire. It securely mounts it to the tailgate and the TeraFlex HD hinged carrier. It is adjustable vertically and can be adjusted fore and aft as well. It is heavily gusseted and has been welded and formed from laser-cut steel for maximum strength and durability. It is used with the TeraFlex HD hinged carrier and can be installed separately from it. If it is installed without that carrier, use a tire up to 35"".
This kit fits the 5 x 5.5"" wheel bolt pattern, not the factory JK bolt pattern. It will work with wheels with backspacing of 5"" or less. For wheels with backspacing of more than 5", a wheel spacer is available separately. Mount a spare securely with this kit and keep going on extreme trails.

This, in combination with forged steel hinge brackets and hardened steel pins, results in far superior load capacity than the factory tailgate hinges, thereby effectively reducing wear and increasing longevity. Compatible with OE and most aftermarket rear bumpers. No drilling required. The Spartacus HD Tire Carrier Wheel Mount for Wrangler JL features sturdy, fully-welded steel construction that distributes weight evenly across a broad footprint.
